Colorado Puppies Round Three:

On October 01, 2008 the Newport Animal Hospital was once again home to puppies from the Valley Humane Society.  This time we switched the line up with three rowdy girls and one adorable boy. These puppies, like the last litter, are also shepherd/husky/lab mixes.  Being that October is the month for Halloween, the names had a horror movie theme to them. Fortunately, all of the puppies were adopted very quickly and are in loving homes.  We will miss them, but look forward to upcoming litters.

Lizzie:

Lizzie is one of the female puppies. We believe her to be an Aussie/Lab mix.  Named after Fall River's most famous axe murder, Lizzie is nothing like her namesake. She is a very sweet and playful puppy, who also enjoys a snuggle session.  She was by far the staff favorite.  Lizzie was the first of the puppies to leave us. She went to a nice family on the island who will spoil her as much as we did.

Carrie:

Carrie is another one of our female puppies. We think that Carrie is a Lab/Shepherd mix.  Although she was the smallest of the four, Carrie could hold her own at play time.  She is a very rambunctious and playful puppy.  At times she would choose play over sleep.  If ever there was a wrestling session, Carrie was the start of it.  Carrie went to a nice family in Newport where she will have all the playtime that she desires.

 Boo:

Boo was the quietest of the females.  We believe her to be a Lab/Golden mix.  Boo tended to play on her own and was constantly a chew toy for Carrie. She is a very affectionate puppy. She stole the heart of the entire staff when she would reach up for a lap to lay on.  She was the second puppy to leave the Newport Animal Hospital.  Boo's new family resides in Newport.

Edward:

Edward is the lone boy of the group.  We believe him to be a Shepherd/Lab mix. He is a very affectionate puppy who loves to be around people.  He definitely enjoys to play!!! But, while the others romped around, Edward could always be found laying next to a technician. He loves to snuggle and sit in a lap. He was the last of the puppies to leave us.  We were very sad to see him go, but we know we will see him all the time given that he was adopted by Dr. Civic.
