NAH Boarding Staff
Meet the group of wonderful people who do all they can to make your pet's stay with us just like a vacation!

Dave
Boarding Manager & Adoption Coordinator
Dave started his career at Newport Animal Hospital in October
of 2008. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with degrees in biology and animal science, Dave ended up here at NAH working as a veterinary technician. While he excelled in the position, Dave found he enjoyed working with the pets in our boarding facility most of all. He earned a promotion to boarding manager in the summer of 2012 and does an amazing job keeping our boarders happy and healthy! Dave is also NAH's Adoption
Coordinator. He organizes all adoptions that take place through NAH, and
oversees the care that each "adoptee" receives during their time with
us. When he is not devoting his attention to our boarders and adoptees, Dave is spoiling his two cats,
"Tookie" and "Matsi", and his Border Collie mix
"Echo".

Lindsay
Lindsay started as a boarding assistant in March of 2010. Lindsay is originally from Middletown. She recently graduated from high school and is signing up to start classes at CCRI in January. It was Lindsay's love for animals that led to her working at NAH. She is very interested in becoming a certified veterinary technician. Lindsay's lives with her family in Middletown, along with two Beagles, ("Lily" and "Daisy"). In addition to her family pets, Lindsay just adopted her first pet of her very own! When she saw "Savannah", one of our previous Anguillan adoptees, it was love at first site! The two are now inseparable!

Crystal
Crystal has been a member of the Newport Animal Hospital team since March 2012. She has a great passion for animals and has been working with them
for the past 5 years, making her a perfect fit! Originally from Pennsylvania, Crystal came to Rhode Island when her husband, (who she met in high school!) was stationed in Newport by the US Coast Guard. They love the area and are currently residing in Fall River, MA with their two adorable chihuahuas, Lily Bell and Jimmy Dean, who are spoiled rotten!

Mallory
Mallory started her career at Newport Animal Hospital in
September 2012. Originally from Tiverton but currently living
in Bristol, Mallory is an all around animal lover. She has always had a connection with animals
so working in boarding was a quick and easy match for her. Mallory currently has a with a degree in Fine
Arts but is looking into earning a degree in animal sciences. When she is not caring for her furry friends in boarding, Mallory is doting on her affectionate aquatic
turtle named "Leonardo" and recently rescued (and vigorous!) kitten named "Willow"
who is spoiled rotten!

Kelly
Kelly became a boarding assistant at NAH in November
of 2012. After graduating from Portsmouth High School
in 2011, she began searching for a job that would give her experience in the animal care field. Kelly is interested in becoming a certified veterinary technician, which made Newport Animal Hospital a great fit! She loves working with animals everyday and is looking to pursue a degree in animal sciences. Kelly also loves horses and is an experienced rider. She grew up
in Portsmouth RI with many pets over the years, (including two Labrador Retrievers named Genny and Dakota) and is currently the proud mom of two cats, Manson and Lily,
and a hamster named Caesar.
