NAH Boarding Staff

Meet the group of wonderful people who do all they can to make your pet's stay with us just like a vacation!

 Michele
Boarding Facility Manager
Michele grew up in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and moved to Newport in 2007. Michele attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated in May 2007 with a BS in Wildlife and Conservation Biology. While Michele started her career at NAH as a veterinary technician, in June 2010 her dedication and skill earned her a new position-- she now manages our boarding facility!  Michele is the proud owner of a handsome mutt named "Carl," who she adopted right here at NAH; he was one of our very own Colorado pups. Michele has recently adopted a kitten named "Vince," and he is turning out to be the perfect addition to her family!

Lindsay
Lindsay started as a boarding assistant in March of 2010.  Lindsay is originally from Middletown. She recently graduated from high school and is signing up to start classes at CCRI in January. It was Lindsay's love for animals that led to her working at NAH. She is very interested in becoming a certified veterinary technician. Lindsay's lives with her family in Middletown, along with two Beagles, ("Lily" and "Daisy"). In addition to her family pets, Lindsay just adopted her first pet of her very own! When she saw "Savannah", one of our previous Anguillan adoptees, it was love at first site! The two are now inseparable!

Haley
Haley began working for NAH in June of 2010. She was born and raised in Middletown, Rhode Island.  Her love for animals is what lead her to work at the Boarding Facility.  Haley is in her last semester at the University of Rhode Island, where she is majoring in Animal Science.  She hopes to go on to Veterinary School to pursue her passion of helping animals, and we are excited to report that in the summer of 2011 she began training as a veterinary technician! She owns four dogs "Lucy," "Muffy," "Spin,"  and "Bentley" and two cats "Ozzy" and "Monty." Haley recently rescued a kitten she named "Dale," who is growing up to be a handsome handful!
