Suzette
Practice Manager
Originally from the Boston area, Suzette moved to Rhode Island to attend Salve Regina University.  After graduating with a degree in Psychology, she decided to pursue her love for animals and attended the Animal Science Program at URI.  It was during this time that she began her career at Newport Animal Hospital.  Suzette began at the hospital as a veterinary technician, which she continued for several years before becoming Practice Manager.  Suzette greatly enjoys playing a part in the special bond between people and their pets.  She is a member of the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Her pets include a Boston terrier named "Sammie", cats "Frankie" and" Piccolo" and a parakeet "Willa".

 Lynn
Assistant Practice Manager
Lynn started out as a technician at NAH in 2004.  Her love of animals and interest in veterinary medicine brought her to a career at NAH. Her passion and dedication to providing the best care possible for our patients lead her to a new position-- she has taken on the responsibilities of Assistant Practice Manager.  While Lynn spends most of her time "behind the scenes" at our Hospital, she continues to work as a technician at least one day a week, usually at our Clinics.  She enjoys spending time with our clients and their pets, as well as the hands-on care she can provide as a tech, too much to give it up! Lynn currently resides in S.E. Massachusetts with her husband Nathan, their four adorable cats "Chewy", "Taz", "Buttercup" and "Dexter", and two Uromastyx lizards "Erwin" and "Indiana".

Kathleen
Administrative Assistant
A native of Newport, RI, Kathleen's pets have included dogs, parakeets, and turtles. After attending college in Southern California, Kathleen returned to Newport, where she eventually fulfilled her desire to work with animals. Kathleen's friendly and outgoing personality made her a natural when it came to her role as a Veterinary Receptionist. Although she spends more time now running errands, you will catch her filling in for the receptionists on occasion. She currently resides in Newport, RI with her yellow lab "Maia" and her guinea pigs, "Seamus" , "Luciano", and "Senior Juarez" and her cats "Poirot" and "(The) Bumble".
